The Widows Bar is located in the hart of Belturbet in an area known locally as the Diamond. Although in existence for over 100 years this modern traditional Irish bar will make you feel right at home with a roaring log fire and a lively scattering of locals always keen to hear the stories of the many passers by.
Weekends see the Widows transform to a live music venue with traditional Irish folk and best of local talent on offer although any passing musician is likely to pull up a stool and get the session going at a moments notice.
Shortlisted for the prestigious bar of the year awards in 2013 owner Brendan Faye has developed the bar over the years to include a private area upstairs for parties and events and an extensive beer garden where beach parties and live music ensure the best Cead Mile Failte to all visitors
