Eddie McGrath Basket Weaver Belturbet

Eddie McGrath is a Basket Maker who trained in both Ireland and in the UK. Specialising in high quality durable baskets from willow such as log, turf, coal baskets, shopper, laundry, hamper baskets as well as Traditional Irish Baskets such as creels, scoibs etc.
Eddie also provide Basket Weaving Tuition, each participant on the workshops will make their own basket from start to finish, making the base of the basket, inserting the uprights, weaving the sides of the basket and top border finishing. Each participant on the workshop will take home their own handwoven basket at the end of the workshop.
